The Vatac expanding gate valves are designed for oil and natural gas wellhead or other critical service applications with operating pressures from 2,000 psi to 5,000 psi. All Vatac expanding gate valves are API 6A Latest Edition monogrammed equipment and are available in bore sizes ranging from 2-1/16" through 7-1/16".

» Expanding Gate provides a tight mechanical seal that does not rely on line pressure. This ensures seal integrity at both high and low pressures.

» Chevron style stem packing is replaceable and can be re-energized by injection between the packing stacks. This ensures efficient sealing for the life of the valve. Graphite packing is used for high-temperature applications.

» The valve body may be lubricated through the grease fittings provided in the valve body. All fittings meet the requirements of NACE MR0175.

» The full through conduit bore provides for smooth flow with minimal turbulence. It also provides an unobstructed passage for well intervention tools.

» All Vatac Expanding Gate valves are drift tested in accordance with API 6A Latest Edition requirements.

The Vatac Forged Body Ball-Screw slab gate valves are designed for High-Pressure / Large-Bore applications which are exposed to abrasive and high fluid volumes such as Fracing Operations or other critical service requirements with working pressures from 10,000psi thru 20,000psi. All Vatac Ball Screw Gate Valves are API 6A Latest Edition Licensed (6A-0993) and Monogrammed and are available in bore sizes from 4 1/16" thru 7 1/16", Material Classes EE thru HH, with features as follows:

The Vatac mud gate valves are designed with wear and corrosion resistance, working pressures from 2,000psi thru 10,000psi. All Vatac Mud Gate Valves are API 6A Latest Edition Licensed (6A-0993) and Monogrammed and are available in bore sizes from 2" thru 6", Production Spec Level from PSL1 thru PSL3, main features are listed as follows:

» Special Design made for high-pressure modern drilling mud systems.

» In the case of dynamic pressure lifetime of the trim designed according to the most severe

frequency & amplitude conditions at 7500psi series with modern triplex mud pumps.

» Soft Seat maximal rating up to 7500psi. For API 10000 and above the applicable design

is the slab type.

» Typical internal fluid types are mud, cement, fracturing and water service.

» High structural strength: All valves have the pressure retaining parts (Body and Bonnet)

only in FORGED STEEL.

» Self energized packing. The Packing doesn’t require initial compression or periodical

adjustments.

» Quality level according to API 6A - PSL 1, 2 or 3.

Vatac API 6A Hydraulic Gate Valves are available in size from 1 13/16” thru 7 1/16” and pressuring rating from 2,000psi to 15,000psi. this type of gate valves are strictly designed and manufactured according to API 6A and API Spec Q1 in forging or casting AISI 4130/4140 low alloy or AISI 410 SS steel, the actuators are designed with safety assurance which are suitable for any kind of gate valves.
